We are glad to advise that La Petrolifera Italo Rumena SpA (PIR) has been certified by the competent Authorities as Authorised Economic Operator (AEO), copy of the certificate can be viewed on PIR web page in the Files section.
According to EC Regulations no. 648/2005 and no. 1875/2006, AEO/Security certification is issued after proper verification of the Customs Agency to prove compliance with Customs requirements, compliance with accounting systems, financial solvency and compliance with safety and security rules from part the Operator (PIR).
The recognition/approval of AEO status from part of the competent Authorities allows economic operators to take advantage of the benefits and concessions as regards the implementation of Customs formalities and procedures, for further details, please refer to the site of the Customs Agency.
